Also been in the Queens arms a few times.■■?
I think you should keep that to yourself.
Official Secrets Act & all that.
[“Driveroneuk”]Not delivered to, but Rolls Royce chauffeured: Roy Barraclough - Alec Gilroy from Corrie.
Nice guy, always tipped well.
Helen Worth - Gail Platt from Corrie. Very well spoken. Managed to find her house on a Cheshire estate in thick fog - well before the days of pratnavs. Sat in the front with me wearing a shortish skirt. (around 18 years ago).
Penny Junor. Rather stuck up
Why were you wearing a shortish skirt■■?

Had deliveries for ford kiernan of still game and bobo balde of Glasgow Celtic on the same day when I was on multidrop pallet network stuff. Got twenty quid for handballing from ford
Hand ball drop for Gabby Logan, ceramic tiles,a few pallets, she was not in,but her husband was and the mother in law,it was a big mansion in the Richmond area of London.
The neighbours were anti-truck,and some rich man came storming out of his plush pad to photo my truck that was on the pavement,he was going to inform the council, and we would have to pay for the pavement cracks that were there before i had to park on to unload.
I was out of time,so slept overnight on HIS pavement that he owns, much to the delight of the whole street.
Once drove to London and back to drop some tapes off for Van Morrison,he was not there, but saw him in Cheap Street in Frome in La Strada coffee shop,a few years later.
Saw Morrisey in the Wool Hall recording studios in Beckington, that was owned by Bath`s Tears for Fears, saw Roland Orzabal coming out of a tan shop in Bath,he was in a mood, when i asked how is Curt Smith, brushed me off with he is living in the USA.
Does this count as two famous people…
I ‘delivered’ the goods to a Kelly Brook lookalike one night, but when I woke up in the morning, with a hangover, discovered she resembled Mo Mowlam.
Does delivering for someone famous count? Its just that I deliver pallets for Hilary Devey offov Dragons Den every day.
long time ago when i worked in a Hotel, I used to take room service breakfast to Sir John Gielgood everymorning, he always asked me to have a cup with him and chat for a while. I think he was doing a stage show at Malvern.
Also sorted the breakfast for Kim Wilde and her dad when they stayed at the hotel, and when the filmed the Whitches of Eastwick there was a lot of filming around Malvern, Cher was in the hotel and i used to take room service to her as well.
And once when sitting in a traffic jam in Worcester I was chatting to the guy in the car next to me who was in a rush to get to the cricket ground, told him cricket was boring! that night while watchin the news i realised it was Ian Botham and my wife at the time was a midwife and she delivered there baby, and i dont mean on the back of a truck
and once when i was driving coaches and parked up out side a indian in brum i remember a big car pulling up and shooting off with a few guys in, a couple of minutes later Alyy Cambell from UB40 came out, half cut looking for the car so i gave him a lift to his mums in the coach.

Our firm does Pallex as well Altho we did send a fridge/freezer down to Zoe Balls house. But I have delivered to Sir Ranulf Fiennes farm near Whitchurch. A mad animal lover, or atleast his wife is, I delivered a load of fibre cement sheets for a barn for his horses to run round in costing about £500,000. But the dogs have double glazing and central heating so they are just as spoilt!
He couldn’t sign for the sheets, he was in the workshop amputating his finger with a hacksaw!
Closest I got was the golf course on the st George’s hill complex near brooklands.
I do believe cliff Richards has a place on there.

Yes…Good old Mike. He loves riding on the carousel. I told him…
“The man will tell you off.”
But he loves it so much, bless him.

Well if we’re going down that route quite topically I was drinking at the bar in the Upper Class cabin on a Virgin flight to LA next to Vidal Sassoon in 2009. That holiday nearly bankrupted me.
Can anyone name, 3 famous monkeys? (Not the pop group with a recently deceased member either!)
I have met hundreds, Timmy Mallet was the first a very long time ago, I had a driver offer me £1,000 to drive this young lady, I spent three full days with her
