First week with the Duvalay topper with sewn in duvet and the only problem was getting up in the morning! What a difference to the standard Volvo mattress. Lovely and warm, never lose the duvet when you turn over and it’s really easy to roll up and store. I’m not on commission but I had the best weeks sleep in a wagon. Not cheap but worth it for me.
I have had a duvalay mattress for about 3 years and can say it was worth the money.

Hiya,Ever considered to put a DAF mattress in the Merc? I’ve done the same in my Scania, it’s a bit tight behind the seats but it will fit in the end

Went out in an old daf on Friday, while at Thrapston I managed to get 2 hours on the bed I must admit it was a very comfortable sleep.
I’m going to have a look at these Duvalay things.
Just done my own Duvalay, for £52.50. Argos single memory foam mattress topper and pillow for £39.99, Asda king sized duvet cover, £6.50 plus Asda single duvet (13.5 tog, nice and warm), £6.00. Measure the width of the mattress topper, and sew down the duvet to create two full length pockets. Insert topper one side, duvet the other (it’s a perfect fit if you measure and sew carefully). The duvet cover comes with two pillow cases, one to put the pillow in, the other to put the rolled up ‘Duvalay’ in. Took about half an hour.
I bought one of these ikea.com/gb/en/catalog/produ … #/60272286. Fits perfectly on to of the standard scania lower bunk. I sleep better in the motor than I do at home.
Stadard KW mattress , memory foam , sleeping bag , sheet , and double duvet , yeap it’s comfy
