Hi taffytrucker,
…
You will soon realize that you waste a lot of time waiting unpaid for loads.
You are new here in this business in Canada and especially at H&R, you will see after a few months that your miles are dropping especially after the XL-Foods facility shut down for operations throughout Canada and the U.S.
It’s your experience what you have now with H&R but I think, it will not last for a long time, so will be aware that you will end in low miles and long waiting times for your next loads.
…Hi taffy,
it was a question of time to read that it came to an end with H&R.
Wish you all the best for your new job!Greets from Texas,
Tom
Thanks Tom
TBH I when XL foods were closed that was some of my busiest periods

All it means is that I got to wait 6 months before my new company can offer me sponsrship. I hadnt started the PR process yet so I havent lost any money there, where as if I had started the process I would have to go back to the begining again
All the best Taffy, pity these companies can’t or don’t provide and fulfil their promises.
It was decent of You to finish the diary Taffy, its a great pity H&R didn’t see You as the Ambassador for there company that You where Chap, You single handedly put them way above where they ought to have been in print for a good while.
Stepping stones.
I know Your new gig will be a better one but We all have to start somewhere, I would put BFS as a better start than H&R Myself at least You wouldn’t have got big miles to begin with & they then dropped…anyway enjoy Your proper job.

O well micks a happy man now then lolHe’s from Yarkshire, never been happy in his life
I resemble that comment!
Good luck with the new job Taffy, at least you finished the diary with some honesty, most who have been skanked by H&R after praising them on-line just disappear without telling what it can really be like after you’ve been there a while.

Thanks Mick. I was playing with the idea of finishing for a while and thought it ■■■■ rude not to lol some of the horror stories I’ve heard since leaving are truely shocking. The advice i can give to anyone coming over for them is to use them as a stepping stone and thats bout it. End of the day no matter what you do for them they will only want more out of you and you get no thanks for it and you will only be your truck number to them and thats about it.
