A15 camera outside of lincoln showground is a weight sensor one set at 40mph.
That’ll be it then Shame really, I try not to speed anyhow - just one of those things…

From the get-go I`ve always locked up and put my keys in a secure zip pocket. Every time - no exceptions. Out of my many, many not-so-good habits, this is one of my better ones!!
DAF LF caught me out once too. Catch dropped every time I shut the door. I’d been dead careful all day, needed to fuel it up on my way back, and as a newbie, I thought I’d best check which side the fuel tank was on, and how far back. Jumped out, and the wind shut the door. Fuel gauge already in the red, engine running.
Took me and 2 chefs 90 minutes, had to bend out the top of the door in the end, find a suitable branch (nothing else remotely any use on hand) and hook it around the door handle. Proper thought I was in for the high jump that day.
Next option which I was about 2 minutes away from would have been to chuck a half-ender through the window, and make my satnav scarce. Well I was in Liverpool after all.
This happened to me with a MAN on a weighbridge in Belgium was I popular,in the end in a blind panic I dobbed the window in it was that or been lynched by an angry mob I told my boss someone had broken it when parked up not a happy trip so always kept spare keys hidden under truck

Rikki, you’re welcome
I’m guessing someone took it too far - didn’t get a chance to look today, as the wagon locked me out whilst the engine was running If you got a Volvo with remote locking - don’t let the door slam whilst the key is in the ignition Took two hours and £45 to get in, and then a five hour drive home. Today sucked…I once did that in my Mitsi Evo VI years ago (when i was single and could afford it lol) it used half a tank of super in the 2 hours i had to wait for RAC to come and “break” into my car and it was snowing to top it off haha
Something seriously wrong with the motor if it uses more fuel at idle than it does when being driven…
you kidding? a EvoVI would use a whole tank in about a hour when being driven
When being driven on a forest track by Tommi Makinen, maybe - But on real roads, driven by normal people those cars generally do better than 20mpg, so a full tank gives 200 miles or so. In an hour? Yeah, right.
Not that it’s entirely relevant though - if that thing burnt 5 gallons of fuel in two hours at idle, there’s something seriously wrong with it.
One of our drivers locked himself out. This was on a Scania. Turns out that on this one particular lorry on the fleet if you slam the drivers door whilst in a ■■■■ and leave the keys in the door locks by itself!!!
Volvos have done this for years, even on the later F’s and FL’s a bit of wire and two crocodile clips was always kept handy I’m not sure if you can still release the front grill from out side cab on later ones but I bet that will still works if you can ( only worked if they had electric windows)

By PM may be the best way- no point in publishing for all to see how to get into a locked truck

That’s why I didn’t give to many details . I was shown by a Volvo fitter that was getting annoyed with coming out to our yard at all hours day or nite
That was one thing about the old days the Fodens, Erfs, Atkis etc, didny have problems like these you were lucky to have a door never mind a lock sometimes. Eddie.
Yeah, I posted from my phone then I lost signal. Glad you spotted my ■■■■ up. A PM would be useful tho’, if you don’t mind…
