General Interview advice

A good mouth wash for oral hygeine and deodorant , as first impressions go a long way.
A firm handshake and look them in the eye to show confidence.
Body language, no slouching shoulders or fiddling the hands.

Don’t forget also to wash the car, sounds daft but if you turn up with a nice clean car it gives the boss the impression you might look after his wagon too.

I heard of one company not too far away that wont employ someone who has a dirty car ! :sunglasses:

Hmm, forum has stopped emailing me to say there have been new posts. Nice.

Cool, would have never thought about cleaning the car for an interview.

How much emphasis is put on CV’'s by employers? Are they as important as other jobs?

Has anyone got an example of a good one?

I’m concerned, as I’ve always been self employed, which doesn’t seem to be a good thing for an employer.

Depends where the car park is I suppose, our car park is about 300 yards away around the back so it would matter what state your car was in but I bet it’ll get noticed at a small place.
