A few drivers on here seem to claim to have been “gassed” I personally have not experienced it, surely they can’t all be wrong, could there be something in it? There seems to be too many incidents for them all to be bogus surely.
I have just bought a truck that was brian yearsleys, and that is fitted with a waeco gas alarm, it must have been an issue with their drivers if they went to the lengths of fitting all the motors with one

I challenge you ( in a friendly manner ) or anyone else, to supply evidence of 1 driver dying in a gas attack !!!
Norwegian driver in Porto 1999. After that FDE told us not to use extra locks so that the robbers can open the cab and the gas gets out.
I still don’t believe 99% of these “gassings”.
We’ve had three of our drivers gassed up to date. The company have now fitted all cab’s with gas detectors.
And talking of door strap’s… save your money, put a small spoon handle at the back of your door button. Press it well down heyyyyyyyy presto, No chance of opening the door, even if they take the out side lock out

Wasn’t a load of rubbish to one of our driver[s who woke up with nothing left in his cab, even took his bedding Hopefully you won’t wake up one morning with only your socks on.
So you reckon that some mad scientist has gone to the trouble of inventing this brilliant anaesthetic that is so secret that even the Royal College of Anesthetists have never been able to get there hands on it so that they could go round stealing truck drivers bedding !.
Some people rely on scientific facts,others have practical experience. They were using some kind of knockout stuff in Portugal years ago. Andy,owner driver,teetotaller woke up in TIR parking Matosinhos,door open & robbed. It happened on a regular basis (to other people)
