Thanks guys did my second day today was out alone tho took a 5 tonne cat then picked up a 6tonne dumper then did 2 loads of trailers had 6 trailers on at one point they was the things I was unsure how to stack and strap down they had no brakes on any of them and no wheel chocks.

Were they the ped roller trailers?.smaller trailer with a pair of fold down ramps

That’s a diary that I wrote some years ago about this sort of work, mainly in reserve as an online CV of sorts should I ever need it.

I used to get a whole load of questions about how stuff worked and how I’d do things so I put this together.

I’m not saying it’s the right way to do things or the only way, but I’m still doing it, still alive and bar a few scratches and scrapes never really cocked up anything too badly. It might give you some useful information.

well done my first week had to get the truck in some hard places must say that reno is a pleasure to drive no miss haps getting used to the chains and stuff now. Loved my first week and its getting me plant and class 2 experience at same time so happy days.

they seem really good yeh been to a few deopts all lads seem ok, not been rushed about or anything just left me to my job, so see what next week brings
