Dozy by name Dozy by nature I guess. By the look of things it was a protest not strike!!! Get in get the job done and go home. That’s unless of course your uncle or brother was there on the ‘picket’ line. Even if it was a picket line if the fight isn’t yours does it really matter

By heck they still moaning about that? pretty sure all 184 shan’t be attending as i know of at least 5 who work for stobarts out of goole now… I worked on agency at doncaster depot before and after stobarts took over the operation and in honesty those guys where paid a awesome wage for little easy work (what every driver should really be paid for the job they do) to put in in perspective they was earning around the 48K mark for a 40 hour 5 day week… a package 98% of drivers nowadays dream about but in the “competitive market” is unsustainable which is why TESCO put stobarts in charge of the operation. While i had a lot of sympathy originally with how the package was originally put to these drivers the final straw came when i overheard 4 of them in conversation next to me in the drivers lobby. One complaining that he would have to sell his 12 plate range rover sport and possibly downgrade his 5 bedroom house (bear in mind this is a guy well into his 50`s with no family other than his wife at home) AND he wouldnt be able to afford his 2 week holiday in the Caribbean this year.
After hearing that converstion i lost all respect for there cause unfortunately and think welcome to the real world buddy. Good luck to them all and i hope they find a driving job that allows them their range rover sport, 5 bedroom house and Caribbean holidays in the future. And if they do get me a job there too haha
thats why you’re called stupidnoob and you work for that shower of ■■■■■

What is it with drivers not wanting other drivers to have stuff. We should all have better conditions, pay etc. but too many times you hear others drivers insisting you have to work 84 hours a week for your £25000 a year etc.
I wonder what some drivers would do at times if offered £47,000 for 36 hour week.
they’d want overtime at double bubble, " not worked enough hours this week drive ! "
Halfwits 99.9% of them! Screwdrivers.

No,I’ll do what I feel is right for me,as for my brother he died 2 yrs ago from mnd and haven’t seen uncle since the fallout between him and my dad over picket line( 30 + yrs ago) ,sad really as we always went on hols together, football, dad and him were inseperable,I said then I’d never go through a picket line and won’t change my mind.
You do what you 'feel is right ’ and don’t worry about the company you work for or their paying customers that pay your wages. Long as your ok eh? As I said not your fight so get the job done.

If my company was that bothered I’d of thought they’d have ws ( he has a hgv license) and his lad ed ( he has a licence) in a couple of trucks leading there troops into battle ,but in 2 years of this dispute I’ve never seen them near the place( maybe there like me and won’t go through a picket line )'so stick do sitting in there air condition offices sniggering at there 7 p.h drivers taking all the flack for them not being able too sort out a 2 year dispute.
As for the customer ,tesco,I very much doubt they give what I may or may not do a second thought,as long as it saves them 7,000,000 on there transport costs I’d of said they’d be more than happy.
Anyway been told won’t be sent there if pickets on again,so issue sorted
