it wasnt my car,it was the girlfreinds,pride and joy,shes spent the last 3 days blubbering about it ,but ive promised her ill deal with it and sheell have a nice shiny motor in no time,but as i cant speak/spanish/romanian im struggling

Agree with above comments, however Ady, you need to pass this paper to your insurance co. who will have access to the services of a translater, if not their own in house. Along with the other basic details recorded at the scene, such as driver’s name, description of vehicle, registration no., police incident log no., weather conditions, pictures, witness contact details, etc.
Company owned commercial or pool vehicles do not usually have a driver’s name on the insurance certificate. How could they? They have no idea who might be driving it next shift.
Did your GF sound the horn?
Its highly liklely that the Romanian driver & his insurer will refute the claim saying he stopped & your GF failed to stop, hence driving into the back of him. Good luck.

yes but his truck was a old worn out piece of junk,that he actually wanted back ,i wanted the money,not the car back,and ill buy her the latest model,not a older model like she had,its called moving with the times

ive accepted it[well told the g.f too ,it sounded a good offer too me,its £900 more than we got offered trade in for it a week or two ago,assesor said cant fault car,best one hes seen,so said he was giving us top book for it,if i had of turned it down,how long until they come back with 2 nd offe r,ive a feeling ive jumped a bit too soon here

the trade in for car was £800 ,the offer from insurance was £1700
the car was y reg,80,000 but in as good nick as it goes[his words not seen a better one]
new car is 55 reg,19,000,as new and cost £3600
g.f has gone from y reg-55 reg,80k-19k,for £1900 ,i think its turned out well,even garage we bought new car off was theyd gave us £1700 for a y reg motor.
its just a shame the g.f doesnt see it that way[ ,hopefully if/when she gets her compensation for her injuries,and hammers the shops shell see it difrently
