Your best bet would be Titan Truck Park near Grays

I parked for 2 hours loading yesterday on a red route off Marylebone road. Guess the minibus full of PCSOs that cruises the streets looking for scumbag wagon drivers to shakedown doesn’t operate on Sundays!
Don’t need to, they can police it with CCTV. I’d not be thinking you’ve got away with it for a few weeks yet as there may be a brown envelope landing on your TM’s desk in the next couple of weeks.
ah the good old days of parking at pottersfield, dining at the italien in tooley street, then walking over tower bridge to the pub at the minories where it was so hot young ladies took there clothes off. then a kebab on the way back to the truck dodging the puddles which were deep enough to sink a transit out of site,

I did a load of research into local authority parking areas that allowed HGVs and only found 2 in London. truck parking

This link shows most of the ones that I found .
Feel free to use it . Some are free to use and most are reasonably priced . Most don’t have facilities as such but shops and such are usually nearby.Sent from my SM-G903F using Tapatalk
Thanks for that work, there are a few you’ve missed. Aberystwyth, Leominster, Builth Wells, Llandovery, and Newtown all have council owned parking that are accesible and permitted for HGVs
As an ex Londoner meself, I reckon the best place for parking would be somewhere north of Inverness. I can’t believe what a crap hole it’s become in the years since we escaped it. Bosses still send their motors in there instead of standing together, just like drivers do eh.

There are loads more than that too. Off the top of my head…
Abergavenny. Redruth. Keith. Gateshead. Redhill. Kirkcaldy. Worcester. Lowestoft. Falkirk. Oban. Portchester. Thurso. Dorchester. Poole. Lincoln. Jedburgh. Bath.

I am going to do stage two later this year .
My research involved Emails to every local authority in mainland UK. Some 400 different authorities, the replies varied from the very helpful to the unintelligent and directions to websites that were years out of date .
I have found many parking areas that were not even included in the Government survey conducted several years ago .
I am by no means a computer geek and this project was a very steep learning curve . I even had an email account closed because the system flagged me as a spammer !
My map is best viewed on a laptop or home pc as then you can click on each spot and get an address and in many cases find a google street view .
The conclusion that I have come to is that none of the websites, apps or directories covers all the parking sites and many don’t include any of the local authority sites .
