What’s the big mystery with the module 4? The info is in the Goods Vehicle Driving Manual. The load restraint question will consist of a description of an imaginary load and the candidate then needs to select the appropriate load restraint, demonstrate the use of it and undo it again. The choice is between rope, strap, chain and loadlock bar. The examiner WILL NOT tell the candidate which one to use.
The strap may well be dismantled before the candidate sees it.
Hope this helps

Hi ROG,
Thank you so much for taking the time and effort to create this fantastic help section for all us newbies. I have learnt a great deal from your posts and honestly think without this, I may not have passed my cat C with 2 minors.
Again thank you for all your help so far and I know as a new driver that I have a hell of a lot to learn and I know, you as a thoughtful and valued member of the TruckNetUK forums will help me as much as is required.
Thank you to everyone that has contributed and helped me in my quest to become an LGV driver.
Regards,
Wrams (24/08/2011)
I would say that you need to go through ‘Recommended Trainers’ as some redirects are invalid.
