Hiya that bedford has a v6 detriot engine. you can tell by the double bumper bar, beresfords at stoke had one, after they sold it i think it went on
the middle east job.

Hi John,yea your right it did have the V6 71 detroit 2 stroke in them,plated for 32 ton, we had three at one time,but thats the only one that done europe
in 1975/6 and never went that far east greek

There was one of these at Gaydon last year built as a tow truck…I followed it up the road earlier as we approached the show…it couldn’t half go!
