Ex solstor international drivers

I actually did a bit for Barry and Danny in between leaving Solstor and buying my own motor. A few trips to Italy for SGH (or whatever they were called then) and a bit of sugar on a west country milk run in that poxy eps Merc when it worked.

Good lads the pair of them, except when they’re running your foot over with a forklift

Recognise Spanish John, hes still there in Crayford, working for a subbie ( steve Cave ) Deidre is still in the office, and the ol man is still going strong, and the boy david is working his socks off.
South London Storage Charlton. they are a multi million pound company, and still climbing, some of the ol boys are still there, but its not the same anymore, I worked there for 9 years, but got sacked a few months ago, why you ask, well, I drove a truck which smelled so bad, you wouldn’t let a dog sleep there, the driver had very serious hygiene problems, and because he was resting, I left him a note, in the old days, I would have told him, anyway he took the note to the office, and the rest is history, just cant call a driver a see you next Tuesday don’t matter about the smelly, dirty, disgusting habits, or the fact he wore his work clothes for a week at a time, including food stains, and the fact he slept in them 3 days a week, not like the old days eh !
Anyway, Dave Langstead, I worked with on Reeves in Erith, when we were also doing Europas work, and he is now in the office, with the bum bandit Russ, well he s been there a few years, part of the furniture. Colin is a shunter in Crayford, and so is Ray, who both had heart attacks and lost their briefs, but deffo old school, like myself, Ray (Chalky) White ( sometimes known as Bobby )
