i thought you couldnt drive on the continent on a sunday unless it was a perishable load
Different rules in different countries.
But there are derogations for “cultural events” etc, such as shows and sporting events.
None of the wagons would move on a Sunday as its Race day they would all be working, they pack down in a Sunday night. Monday the trucks would get moved by agency staff to next country and the guys will get shipped by sleeper bus.
ok sorry i thought it was just perishable loads that were exempt
No he is PAYE, contracted FT with E*T
So on this post…how many “work days” are actually driving the truck?
Contract with employer states employed as ‘HGV Class 1 Driver’ because when not on Motorsports duties they work as Trampers Mon>Fri.
Total days driving in stint #2 are 15
Say no more!
You’ve answered your own question.
Edit.
And the driver drives back to the UK twice (weeks 4 and 8 #2 stint) with no mention of how he got back into Euroland.
Drives the wagon back in convoy with the rest of them.
