Driverhire, or at least the branch I was at provided everything. Manpower provided a full uniform including T-shirts and jumpers.

Can I be the first on this thread to say it?
You should be grateful to have a job and should be happy to provide all the gear you need out of your own pocket. At the same time you should also be paying for the diesel the trucks use, after all if the truck doesn’t move you earn no wages.

If I need any PPE I get it myself and put a reciept in and get the money back the following week , got mysef a hard hat with ear defenders attached and integral visor to try and keep Corus happy £20 ish all he said was "well if you need it you you need it " and he HATES H/S , got enough PPE in my cab to keep any factory/customer H/S bod more than happy![]()

what a load of tosh. no company or agency can make you pay for ppe.
we get coats/fleeces/shirts and boots.
interbulk used to send over a bag full of stuff, haven’t got anything in a few year
