Back in the eighties I had just tipped in Poland and asked if I could send a telex to England, lots of blank faces then a lady appeared and said that she was the Engish interpreter and asked how is it possible to drive all the way from America :unamused: .
Around the same time while listening to the Jimmy Young show (remember him) the travel consultant who used to come on the show every couple of months was reading out some of the complaints from the public. One person had visited his local travel agents and asked which was the best way from Sydney Australia to New Zealand, he was told you drive over the bridge :cry: .

LOL, looks like it, we get in there fairly often on the way to Texas, you got back up here quicker than me, I had two picks down there 300 miles apart.

Lol, I was rolling my hours, managed over 10,000 miles with just one (forced) 34 hr reset, but rolling can sometimes give you short days, so slow you down a bit.
I’ll try to keep up with you next time LOL.

You not have 36 hrs■■? Must admit though the unit I had was a flyer and I did come back empty once picked up the damaged one

I witnessed a classic yesterday… After taking an agonising 4 hours to get from NYC to Bordentown NJ I was heading back onto the NJTurpike at exit 7, as I neared the toll booths a lady in a car was on my left side as I observed her in my mirror. There were 4 toll boths open, two ezpass on the left and two cash only on the right, the booth next to my left was closed, with a big red X and 4 ones in front, this dumb ■■■■■ actually drove up to the cones and sat there not knowing what to do, she even sounded her horn for someone to move them, I drove noth laughing :laughing: :laughing: :laughing:
