Side lights on all the time, as the weigh loader works off of the lights.
Shoot me, top bar and run with side lights on.
Comes from my days on the buses, they told us to run with them on. Thinking being, if you were in an accident and got the didn’t see you line, you could say to the insurance company the vehicle had lights on.

The point I was trying to make is that if you have a top and or bottom light bar, maybe a few extra leds on the front/side of the vehicle, do you turn the sidelights(not day running lights) on in daylight because you think it looks
Years back I drove a Eurotech (stop laughing at the back)that had those cheap amber coloured lights mounted on the bumper.
They didn’t work very often as the vibration caused the bulbs to fall out.
What you was really trying to do was have a go at trucks with light bars but its not quite worked out in the way you hoped.

Didn’t work out for me with the lightboard crew either.
Can’t seem to get a bite on here anymore, I must be losing my touch…

Still needs manual intervention, the sensors don’t recognise rain and fog very well.
thingthat gets me is people think day running lights also think the rears are on to many a time u going down road at night and have not turn the lights on fully, when u tell them at lights to switch the lights on all i get they are on yep ur front are because ur daylights are on but ur back are not now turn them on.then they pull up to check and realise or u have to flash them to get then to turn them on as they drive along unaware
