the law states a red light facing forward or positioned at the front, the red lights in most trucks are fitted into the roof on the interior and all that is seen is a glow within the cabin area, not a red light shining to the front at all.
i used to wonder how cavewoods got away with the red banner across the illuminated panel on the volvo fh’s they ran, surely that was definately a red light to the front?
there also seems to be plenty of foriegn trucks over here with those dashboard lamps attached to a dashboard table shining red lights forward.
