Driving in the Alps

Hi boys

vastly exp:

harry:
Vastly, do you remember the drivers that used to see the naked man at midnight jump out at 'em on the last knockings of the Calais home straight? How many cafe calvas had they had?

yes i do harry, the last time i saw him (or his RS that is)the motorway was brand new from calais to st omer it had only been open nearly a week, there he was just after 10 oclock sunday night stood on the center crash barrier with his back to us bent down at that, not a pretty sight, quite a few of us had a laugh at peronne services and monique wondered what we were all laughing at.

Well boys have you brought back some memories tonight.I saw that chap a few times on the old road but not on the new motorway. Do you remember the Total ? garage on the outskirts of St Omar that used to give you presents each Christmas. Had a leather wallet with spring clip on the top to keep coins in one year. Talking of food there was a routiers on the left going back to Calais from St Omar that did a mean rabit. Once sat down to a meal in a local cafe north of Arras and ordered chicken, now I know my French was not fluent but when it came it had four legs and a tail six ins long. needles to say I filled up on the chips   btw better not say to much about Monique don’t know who’s earwigging Harry are you shaw you only looked, not many on here did that

Regards Keith

Hi boys
doneit as I remember the girl that worked the south bound side was of similar age and had longish brown hair
I saw her one day on the phone at the pay desk for the toilets. She was describing in detail what services she could provide all to the disgust of the tourists.using the loos  .I heard that Monique was murdered by a Dutch man a few years later.
