Afternoon guys,
This is my first post so please be kind.
Iv had my class 1 since February I drive a 2543 Merc Axor (not the best but a good starting off truck)
I’m looking for help as to what to get in terms of tool box. Like what tools to get to change bulbs, air lines and stuff. Iv looked around at spanner sets, screwdriver sets but not really sure what to get so any help would be appreciated.
If its like me actros get a torx screwdriver set, makes changing headlight bulbs a doddle. Some may faint at the thought but my place has realised the callout cost for simple repairs and will show a driver what to do if they aint sure. Quite a few have moaned as you would expect.
Also roll of carpet and chloroform comes in handy and some rohypnol for uglier dates. I find taking one myself 5 minutes before coitus stops me remembering it.

I have noticed alot of companies now wont let us drivers do anything to the trucks like even put Adblue in them. When I was at Knights of old, it was like that. But the company in with now will let us do stuff like change airlines, bulbs and that to save money and calling out a mechanic.WTF,

Why don’t they stop you putting diesel in as well ?

I have to top my Adblue up every time I fill up with diesel (Man TGX, uses about 1 tank of Adblue to 1 tank of diesel)
It was only because a careless driver put Adblue in the diesel tank
Can someone recommend me “Air Line Inflator Dial Pressure Meter Gauge” or whatever that thing - device is called that you attach to end of airline and which shows PSI ?
Something like this:

Preferably some tested make that has Lock On feature + long bit for inside tyre inflation.
MK3 versions on ebay have either one or the other as far as I understand - don’t see one with both features.

Don’t need anything fancy why not just get a hand gauge?? They are easy to read,and a lot cheaper.
