Shandy123:
What about this ‘popcorn lung’ thing I’ve heard about, from vaping?
Also, I wonder about getting into a cab where someone had been vaping for hours on end. I’d it safe?
We really doubt know much about it yet. It’s Bern around for than a decade; smoking was introduced over 600 years ago - Doctors were still endorsing certain brands in the seventies!
I hadn’t heard of popcorn lung so I’ve just had a google. It seems to be a real possibility that vaping could cause severe lung conditions on a par with those seen in smokers! That’s not exactly been shouted from the rooftops, has it?

No, I don’t smoke or vape, but a colleague who vapes (and is asthmatic, ffs!) Told me about it. That’s the only time I’ve heard of it, before or since. Weird, huh?
Just shows how things get out of proportion from people reading and hearing things, load of codswallop. How can you be at risk from someone vaping in a truck before you get into it FFS. You don’t mind driving about with your windows down or sat in traffic jams in the hot summer days with diesel fumes all around you. Get a grip people FFS

I don’t know, that’s why I’m asking. There are some of us who don’t know everything, like you do, you know!
Oh, and by the way, I’m pretty confident that people like you used to say similar things about asbestos, Agent Orange, organo-phosphates, etc, etc…

The chances of “popcorn lung” from vaping are incredibly small. It’s caused by inhaling Diacetyl vapour… in industrial quantities, like, in a factory.
If you buy cheap Chinese juice you might find it contains Diacetyl (or you might not as they might not list it on the ingredients) but even then, the chances of you managing to vape enough of it to give yourself a lung condition that is linked to industrial exposure to a chemical that may or may not form a small percentage of what you’re inhaling… compared to the chance of getting one of the nasties from smoking? I know which risk I’d choose to take!

The liquids sold in the UK are now tested and regulated celticvapours.com/faq/#faq_5 and I highly doubt that what the 'Muricans and Asians do will pass muster here, practically every American food is ‘one bite at a time’ coronary heart disease! but we have different standards for additives here so believing US based scare stories just goes to show what a great job MSM and Social media does on the sheeples.
What’s in my E-liquid?
E-liquid is composed of four principal ingredients:
Nicotine; Vaping has been shown to be a hugely effective form of Nicotine replacement, which appears to be much more effective than conventional Nicotine Replacement Therapy (NRT). The use of Nicotine in E-cigarettes is critical in helping smokers to stop using conventional tobacco cigarettes and satisfy their cravings.
Propylene Glycol (PG); This ingredient is used in a huge range of applications across many industries. PG is colourless, odorless and has a very slightly sweet taste It is very likely you have seen PG at your most recent visit to a music concert - it is used to make stage smoke. A small group of people exhibit allergies to PG - people who suffer from these allergies are encouraged to look at our Gold Range, which are low PG liquids.
Vegetable Glycerin (VG); VG is a thick, viscous liquid, which creates much larger and thicker plumes of smoke when used in an E-cigarette. VG often lends a sweeter flavour.
Flavourings; These are the component of E-liquid which tend to be more complex, some flavours use just one or two ingredients to create a distinct flavour, whilst others use several different ingredients to create multi-layered and sophisticated flavours.
I smoke have a can of odour killer and a fake ciggy just in case im pulled, but my wagon is un-banded dont show company name, never been pulled over yet. a mate in a van has, he told them to ■■■■ off its his van he’ll do as he wants…
Risking looking like a know it all but here goes. My brother in law is a consultant chest physician at 3 of our local hospitals in my area, as such he knows a ■■■■ site more than anyone on here knows with regards this topic. I would rather listen to him on this subject than the average Joe who has either read something somewhere or has a mate who knows about these things. My brother in law told me this, what we know about cigarettes and the harm that they cause which he sees on a daily basis, he recommends any smoker to buy an e cig in order to stop as they are 95% safer than cigarettes. There ARE studies being conducted on e cigarettes and the findings so far is that they are safe to use. Not 100% safe as there are findings that are being argued between different specialists, however they ALL agree that is is by far the best thing for any smoker to substitute the nicotine intake and purchase an e cig. Good enough for me. They have also concluded that there is no harm to passive smokers around e cigarettes. There is more chance of the battery doing you harm. I trust him and his colleagues to not tell me rubbish.

you get what you pay for buy from a reputable shop as opposed to flee bat use the proper chargers i have been vaping for 5 years no issues my battery charger wasent cheep but it turns itself off when battery are charged so they dont fry
^^ This ^^
Spend out on the right gear and its as safe as your laptop. I’ve got a decent e-sig with a pair of batteries and an external charger. That way, to keep the insurance company happy, I don’t have to charge overnight in the wagon. At home, one battery is on charge all the time and I’ve had no problems.
maga:
I used to and helped me stop smoking in 7 months, The button got stuck one day while I was driving and I had to throw it out the window on the M54 as it was becoming extremely hot
Also this, my first cheepie from the petrol station did this. It could still be rolling down the M5.

You need to get your story straight to be a successful troll. Your scattergun approach is boring. And you need to pay more attention in English Literature. …
