I know koops isnt polish but he obviously has a depot there.
Good for wiili for opening a british depot, but of course he has had british reg trucks here for years on the toyota contract. But im not naive enough to bury my head in the sand that it dosent go on.

Yes, quite big one, but it does not makes it a Polish company. Just like mounting Rover 1.4 engines to FSO Polonez never made it British car (lucky for you! )
But, as we speak seriously now, there are some companies that can be considered Polish. For example Raben moved to Poland in 1991, for years they have their HQ there, their boss lives in Poland, pays all their company taxes there - that can be considered Polish now, I think?
Btw: I have some serious theoretical question that sprung to mind after we spoke of country of registration of certain trucks belonging to one company.
Let’s imagine that, for example, Eddie Stobart goes international, they open new depot in Antwerp or Holland (I know they go that way already) and register some of their trucks there.
Then Eddie gets a job Glasgow - London. His British lorry brakes down, but his Dutch - registered one is around the corner. Can he send it to do that job? Will that be a cabotage, as truck is registered in Holland? Or as long, as its done by the same, British company, it’s all right?
Orys,I’m sure you know this Cabotage Rules: Legal Advice - JMW Solicitors so in my view Eddie B.V.(or whatever) is subject to these rules regardless of the origin of the parent company. It’s Dutch or Belgian registered,so therefore it’s foreign.
