Does anybody remember a BRS digs in Runcorn.Mrs.Pendlebury ran it and it was home from home,lovely and warm,clean beds lovely food and a hot water bottle at bedtime too!She only took in about six drivers and they were all BRS from the Widnes depot over the river.I was dead lucky to get in,but once in that was it. This was in 1965.Regards to all,900X20.
Routemaster in Felixstowe was a nice change,hot bath/shower,clean bedroom,nice pint,but rapidly went down hill after a couple of years since opening.

Stopped there about 7 years ago it was pretty grim then.

It could be possible all I can recall is it was just a short walk from wood lane lorry park and it was very clean with a very good breakfast and I am sure the lady was Austrian or German and it was mid 60s to mid 70s when I used it as she was one of the few who opened Saturday and Sunday as we often had to go through London on Sundays with wide loads so had a few Saturdays off to do the tourist thing and got paid time and a half for it.
