When you’re just over the 4 and a half hours drving time as you pull off for your break does the Tacho not let you change driver 1 mode to break but keep constantly flashing about how you need a break? I just end up pressing all the buttons till i getback to the normal screen then change the mode fo driver 1.

You should accept or ok the flashing, like you would an overspeed
and try to keep it under 4h.30

When a warning shows on the display press “OK” on a Siemens or on a Stonridge press the button that looks like a return key to clear the warning, you will then be able to put the tachograph on break.
