Well that made for some interesting reading, so it turns out that the ‘know it all’ TM probably hasn’t even done his CPC…that would explain his lack of understanding then, considering he hasn’t got a HGV licence eitherSo when I undertake my driver’s cpc, I’ll be more qualified to do his job than my TM

Hi George1982, I’m afraid that the drivers’ CPC is a completely different animal to the operators’ CPC altogether and there’s no linkage between the two different kinds of CPCs whatsoever. 
There’s nothing stopping your TM from taking the operator CPC course and exams on a voluntary basis though, cos it’s a good (and portable) qualification to have if you’re in that kind of job.
