After taking advice from a tractor nerd, they really are serious, they make me look normal, apparently your dealer was right. It’s very complicated in Europe anyway, one particular model line has IVECO engines another uses John Deere and the remainder Daimler. Imagine the parts stock.
I was beginning to doubt it myself, had a look on Google and couldn’t find any link between Claas and CNH, IVECO or any of the other Agnelli controlled corporations, but your nerd friend confirms what I was told, so there you go.
Parts wise, I guess the CNH influence will put a stop to that madness, with Daimler and Deere being cast aside in favour of in house oily bits.
