Death trap anybody?

Don’t think I’ve ever drove one so can’t comment on their air holding capabilities. We have 22/23 plates (probably one of the ones that left you stuck in yard  ). Thankfully haven’t been asked to drive one yet as I believe they’re all locked in eco.
Apparently they do about 19mph at one point going over Woodhead

A different type of issue we had, but a letter signed by multiple drivers to your manager pointing out the serious possibilty of accidents due to being unable to get any power down due solely to that ECO programming should see some results, soon as our depot manager got that he sent it straight up the line, within days the affected vehicles we systematically retrofitted with the correct valving they should have come with from the start.
Its only a case of reflashing the ecu and you’ll have three gearbox settings incl performance mode, performance transforms how the vehicle drives, at no obvious fuel penalty.

Where I used to work we had a 16 and a 66 plt Scania G both ex DHL
16 was a 410 and 66 was a 450 but the 410 out performed the 450 due to the 450’s gear box being locked in eco mode all the time

Our driver trainer has been out with someone from MAN in one to show them the problem so he was saying.
Probably doesn’t bother most our drivers they’d happily do 20mph everywhere. Like I said haven’t drove one so can’t give an opinion.
