Davies Int. Southampton. With photos (Part 1)

:smiling_imp: come on then reader, which farmyard animal are you
saying i resemble? :smiling_imp: tony, tony who is back.
dont know anyone by that name. :smiling_imp: flipper,
dont keep on. :smiling_imp: beggsy, shut up :smiling_imp:

No prizes for identifying these two.
Kwozzy, i,ve got nothing to say to you :smiling_imp: :smiling_imp: :smiling_imp: :smiling_imp:

S’funny Tone that I spent many a leaning on a bar slurping carajillo (note spelling) that now I make 'em and dish 'em out to passing (ex) truckers! Some things never really change, just the positions at the bar!

Hi Gazza, thanks for pointing out the correct spelling of carajillo, i obviously spelt it wrong earlier. ( i blame Kwozzy and Shady )
All i know is that on the very rare occasion i drank one ( or maybe two at a push ) i knew how to pronounce it and
made myself understood. :unamused: :unamused: :unamused:
It,d be great to come and see in yer bar mate, but things a bit tight at mo. :frowning: :frowning: :frowning: ( have to save my pennies )
Re above photo, aint Buzzer lost some weight since then. A Shadow of his former self.
Tony ( TIR )

I hardly recognised Buzzer at his 60th bash, he had lost so much weight but looked better for it.

Now you know how to spell it…what does it mean?

It means you can keep going all night stopping only for a refill now and then.
Worked for me anyway Gazza.

Tir Tone Isn’t that picture of the before and after or wasn’t that what you were tryin to portray…

As for the carrjillio’s me thinks you forgot to put the 20 in front of the 1 or 2 not that I was countin … :sunglasses: :sunglasses: :sunglasses:

OOOpps wrong sshpellin again… :sunglasses: :sunglasses: :sunglasses:

Me thinks that photo is from the port of Ancona Split was a bit more secure with so many railings. And as for you Mr kwoz, you really ought to stop writing so much 'cos we all get board reading what you put on here, try to make it shorter next time… :sunglasses: :sunglasses: :sunglasses:

Tir Tone, was that Genoa, only 'cos I dint think you were capable of drivin too far… :sunglasses: :sunglasses: :sunglasses:

Yes Shady, it was Genoa, waiting for a ferry to Sardinia to load refinery equipment.
When i arrived at Porto Torres i went to the refinery and was told the load wasnt ready for a few days.
I dropped my traIler and saw another STS tr. dropped there, so as i was making my way back to the Port
i called out on the CB and Ginger was there,so we,re chatting away and he,s giving me directions to where
he is, and a local breaker came on air thinking at first he had a good copy from the UK.
Well i found Ginger and this guy turned up on his moped and he turned out to be a good old boy.
He invited us to his house to meet his girlfriend and parents and we were treated like bloody royalty.
They insisted on us staying to join them for their evening meal. Well by this time we knew Elky ( Ian Elkins )
was due so we called him up on our new friends home base, got hold of him and our new mate picked him up from
the Port on his moped. Had a brilliant evening and as you can imagine there was plenty of wine flowing. ( and Whisky too )
Over the next couple of days Jim Street and a few others turned up and we were there for a total of 5 days.
Tough life was,nt it.
