Buzzer:
A day when all things got thrown out the pram before the game started, had my morning all planned but the a chap came up from one of the house boats near the marsh where my steers are and said they had escaped into the tall reed, rounded up a couple of mates and got them back with relative ease but then the hard bit as we had to reinstate about 100yds of fencing. The heat was intense 29 degree’s and little breeze and had to put in more than a dozen new posts the only godsend was its marsh and the ground is still soft but firm so they went in not too bad but a job not needed on any day let alone one as hot as this. it took us a couple of hours to complete but its done now so hope that’s the end of it.
Came home had a shower and a well earned cup of tea, too hot to eat ought and will have to do tomorrow what I had in mind for today, typing this at half time of the England Sweden match and we are one up at the moment, lets hope they hang on or get more goals, Cheers Buzzer.
If you’d asked Buzzer I would have sent this fella down to carry the posts for you !
Dennis you obviously don’t use a bank for you wealth and got two guard dogs to keep it safe, before you start I gave the firm to me boys so just rub along on me pension and a few meagre savings. God its been hot for far too long and today I went and got 3 round bales of hay and put in the park where me 22 steers are, there is still grass there and they were grazing but it is dried out a bit like hay so this was a safety measure so they don’t go short and I will monitor it to see how they go, at least I am trying out me knew feed trailer.
Yesterday after me fence escapade I was well and truly knackered so relaxed on me bed with two fans a blowing over the top, looks like we got at least two more weeks of this extended heat wave but have a feeling when it does rain it wont stop for two months, here’s hoping Buzzer.

Aye they were two great employees gave 100% dedication to their job ! Both called Bruce which was coincidence and not my doing. The one on the left was an excellent judge of character so was selective but always right ! The one carrying the fence post would just attack anyone particularly if they came within 100 yds of me ! Funny how I never had any problems at the depot over the years I had guard dogs but after my time when WRM took over they got the Garage “cleaned out” twice and even the Manager’s Merc got nicked, although the Perps apparently left his briefcase on the office step before making off to possibly Ireland but that’s all I know ! ■■■■■■■ numpties ! As for the weather, well this is turning out to be another 1976 and I doubt whether they will get a second crop of silo around here it’s absolutely parched. However, I’ve heard a new one from United Utilitys " We’ve got plenty of water we just can’t get it into the system quick enough" That was last week ! this week they’ll be ■■■■■■■ screaming that the reservoirs are running low ( which they are) Cheers Dennis. PS And as for your first comment goes Buzzer well I can hear a full “ensemble” of violins playing in the background ! Aye you look like you haven’t got a penny to scratch your 'arris with !

Morning Andrew, Got to ask, why is he parked up like that, is it because when you are in bed with your head to nearside you can look at the DAVIES sign to help you nod off ■■?
Harvey
Nice to see Snapper is posting a few pics to keep the truck bit alive, me well I picked 15lb of runner beans today and they are being snapped up the chicken have not laid as well and I think they don’t like this weather just like me, would not mind as much if it rained all night so we had the best of both worlds, cheers Buzzer

I can well understand your frustration Buzzer. All the hard work you’ve put
in and it all grinds to a halt. On a good note. All this sun we’ve had has turned my white flabby
body into a bronzed Adonis! All the old ladies here in the home keep coming up and asking if they can
Touch it. Go and wash your hands first. I don’t want them running their hands all over my whatsit! Arms.
Hope you get some rain soon Mr D. I’m getting fed up with you whinging every day. Bloody farmers!
Regards Charlie
Mr D, did you catch your chicken killer??

Not yet Bear my hotshot gunman sat every morning from 6am to 8am for a week and only accepted French beans as payment but touch wood he has not bin back, still set the trap every night but i did shoot at him twice so I may have winged him and he may have lead shot in him and gone away and died but i still drive the birds in just after eight in the evening as i never rest easy as they are cunning devils and come at any time, had no bother for four years but thats how it is, cheers Buzzer.
Evening Buzzer
Another busy weekend up ere finished off the crop up at home and now we just have to wait for second cut which is looking like been a late one this year, we’ve made about 1500 small bales of hay this year which should of helped our fitness although it doesn’t feel like it at the moment.
Managed a day off today so packed the dogs up and headed for the nearest beach at Morecambe, they love charging about on the sand and are now all fast asleep.
Back to work on Wednesday but i’ve no idea where i’ll be heading so we will see.
Cheers Wrighty.

Hi Harvey don’t need to look at Davies sign to nod off just the gentle purr of de frigo lol
The reason we parked like that was DG got there first and his fridge running didn’t want to disturb the neighbours so nosed in facing A1 & I reversed in as ambient load no frigo so very kind & considerate of him but then DG disturbs people in so many other ways as anyone that knows him will agree lol
Cheers Andrew
