Went to turn the grass I cut yesterday but did ten yards and stopped as it would have been hay by teatime so called the contractor and asked if he could do it today and he did, arrived at 7pm finished at 9.30 resulting in 114 big round bales. All we got to do now is fetch them home, not bad cut and baled in under 36 hours but it has been really hot here and looks like its staying so you should be ok Wrighty, cheers Buzzer

I’ve been keeping an eye on you boys…
31st March …Sunday on M2 in Kent…I think your driver thought “what the hell” …
Today did not start too well as I had a four legged chicken raider at 20 to 8am this morning I will get him in the end. After that a long hard day in really hot sun getting in the haylage bales back home and stack but made good progress and finished by 4pm so well pleased, all we need now is a week of rain to get thing going again as the ground is as hard as nails and the grass aint growing, cheers Buzzer.
Just a foot not went to change the hosepipe on the french beans and pulled a big weed out and low and behold there are beans so pickin 2mor to go with the beef.
Working hard still JD, good job photo was taken in the field yes

That really is a cracking spot there Buzzer on a nice day ! Out of intrest what make is the tractor ?
They are huge now must cost a fortune. I remember talking to the manager of a large farm about
6/7 years ago who was just replacing there largest tractor and it was a £120,000 grand then.
Chris it is beautiful down there but gets very hot, council ground about 50 acres and that fild is only a stone throw from the Jolly Sailor pub, cut on Thursday both fields and never turned any of it baled Friday.
Dean the baler tractor is a Fendt and the rower up one a John Deere, the chap driving the Fendt has climate control and he said it was like sitting in a fridge but when you spen 15 hours a day in it you need creature comforts, still fascinates me how that baler rolls it up spits it into another chamber on the back and wraps it all in one move.
On the gardening mode dug spuds this morning and picked loads of French beans which we will be having a bit later with the Roast Beef after the football, The Boss just been to Tesco and she said it was heaving, every one full loaded trollies with booze & BBQ gear, cheers Buzzer
