gazzer:
Been reading some truck magazines Buzzer, in my spare moments, I see in the back pages, SOLSTOR are advertising for good folk of the highway. We bin there boy, we bin there, Frankie, The ■■■■■ etc!
F. H. Hurren theres a name to cunger with, man he had a Hatcher name board on top of his cab , a double hight one at that F.H.Hurran Fulham every body there used to stare at his truck headboard wondering what film was goin to come on. I dont think Franky understood any thing about aerodynamics he was all about the show plus he didn’t want to go away, but a nice feller he was thats a fact, another Mary Hopkins moment Gazzer.
This pic compliments of Nipper.

Hi Buzzer, that photo was e-mailed to me a couple of years ago or so by Nipper ( Ian Keen )
ex PJK and then Rockold.
It certainly looks to be somewhere in Spain…I,ve just e-mailed Ian to ask him…I,ll let you know.
I was supposed to be meeting Paul Nichols and Cluey for breakfast this morning but i had
a rough night so have only just dragged myself out of bed. Sorry Pete and Paul.
PS…You mentioned week-ends there Buzzer, well in the last year i worked for you i,m pretty sure
that i only had 4 complete week-ends at home. Not complaining though, that was the job aye.
Well, I keep saying Davies are everywhere…Saw R1 GEL earlier today, looking very smart and purposeful…in Sittingbourne Kent at approximately 4.00pm leaving the Eurolink Industrial Estate. What was the drill with this trip Horry ?
Hey Mappo your talkin about Franky Hurren do you remember his mate Micky North, he was a good laugh as well wonderwhat they two are up to now sumthin dodgy i spect.
Micky North…now there,s a character…used to have me in stitches when running with him on the CB.
It was guys like him and Frank that made the job the fun it was.
Great lads like so many others doing it at the time.

Good evening, This is the same lad you saw the other week, cutting down the undergrowth to find Hunton. Just had an internal trailer wash at Sittingbourne Truck Wash. The pilot is Derek, affectionaly known as Homer, for his uncanny resemblance to the one and only from Springfield.
Keep em peeled - another one coming through the vines to Hunton tomorrow!!
Evening Horry. Many thanks for the reply. If I was 10 minutes earlier I could have got a picture at the truck wash.Never mind, will keep them peeled tomorrow !
I came across this photo which i dont think i,ve put on before ( i,m not looking back through 57 pages ) of Dennys motor.
I was running with Nigel Smith and it was taken somewhere in Swiss.
Cant remember if we were tipping Swiss or transiting.
