Buzzer:

Horry:
Good morning Charlie, hope you are well. I would be delighted to wash your vehicle off, but I must draw your attention to the cost of coming from Alton to Fareham for a valet. I heard a rumour that there is a Saturday morning car wash this week in the Micheldever area which is being co-ordinated by a local business within the Road Haulage Sector. There should be two of them doing it whilst wearing tight red shorts and bikini tops. There will be a bucket for donations and I believe this is in an effort to raise funds for August at the Wheatsheaf. So, to summarise, I would give this option a try purely on travelling costs, carbon footprint reduction and the outside chance of being bought a drink in three months time. TTFN ■■

Now Charlie after Horry has told you about this venture in Micheldever on saturday , i might have to go myself regardless of the fact i can get anything washed in our own yard which includes horses. The curiosity of the visuel effect of old Scattercash and Gazzer in tight red shorts and bikini tops and all that froth, it would be worth the fuel to get there.

Hi John.I was about to reply to Horrys extremely kind offer, but I now feel that that Micheldever is closer to Alton and also the fact that I have had new batteries fitted to my pacemaker makes it an attractive outing.I feel its my duty to support these enterprising people.Regards Charlie

Buzzer:
" IN THE YARD YESTERDAY "
Here we seem to be having some tyres attended to, very expensive now . I can remember buying 10 factory run michelins 315 / 80’s for £1000. dont think they will be doin that nowadays, must be another MH moment.( sorry pat )

I just noticed the dam pic never came out hopefully it will this time.

I have to give that Gazzer she’s better lookin than our Trevor.

Pleasant surprise yesterday morning, heard a truck coming down my lane…was by my front gates just in time to see a large blue and white truck and fridge pushing through.Yep …Davies it was.I am outside of Maidstone, quite rural and it looked like it must have been going towards Hunton or Coxheath. What’s the drill with this trip boys ?

Hello Ringrose. Making a delivery to Hunton. A firm called JL Baxter.

Many thanks Horry. It was an impressive sight.Keep up the good work. Davies get everywhere !

Ain’t seen one in our street !!!   Hi Horry !!

R Jim

Morning Jim. Promise will not let you down and get one of ours down your road for you. - Buzzer starts Monday as an owner-driver for meals on wheels with his cart - will put your name down on his round. Monday is Roast Pork. He should be with you by 10pm as his round starts in Bursledon. He has been told to find a phone box and ring in when tipped.
Charlie - have a word as Buzzer might need a drivers mate to assist in offloading and hold the torch.

Morning Horry,

What day does he do West Wellow ? could you put me down for Roast Beef please,I will make sure I have some water for the horses, and some Calvados for John & Charlie to keep them going !

Regards
Richard

Morning Maggie D. Yes I can confirm he is now authorised to drive in your area and does do a ‘West Country Run’ on a Tuesday and Thursday. It took a while to obtain a permit book for this area but you will be surprised by the range and variety he is now able to offer. Puddings will be available too from the start of June due to the fact FT cannot wire up his custard heater until next week. He will have to come M27 due to the fact he left Charlie in charge for a day the other week and he ‘bumped’ the peage at the Itchen Bridge. Old habits die hard! - Hope you are well. TTFN

Good morning gentlemen. Please excuse the delay in replying but I had problems with seeing the keyboard owing to the tears welling from my eyes. You dont realise Horry that at the age of seventy four Im starting to feel useful again.Thank you very much. The Itchen bridge incident was not my fault.Buzzer gave me a few lira and an old twenty franc note. The lady on the toll got quite nasty and cast doubts on my parentage.( How did she know? ) so I got the whip out and rattled off down the roar at about six miles an hour.Obviously not fast enough.Looking forward to the West Wellow run and the Calvados.Regards Charlie

Hi all don’t bother with me I’m too young for meals on wheels  I got a lady comes in and cooks for me  I’ll get a clump around the head now you wait and see !!
Paid a visit to “Tracey Island” today ( the Davies international stables ) I say stables cos when I drove down the road there was horse droppings all over the place which I accidentally drove through and I missed Buzzer before he went on his meals on wheels round,I was given coffee and was more than impressed with the way transport has gone over the last nearly 30 years since I was back in the day !!! Cheers Horry !!
I was offerd a job by your dad back in the day but unfortunately the diabetes got me first !! But would have loved to have had a go
Charlie when you go out with Buzzer on the long ride take a bucket and shovel cos there money in that there horse s**t !!

Regards Jimski

Well therers a thing , just when you think every thing is huncky dorey in the world of fiction you have to stop and pinch yourself. Just imagine if you will for just one moment what someone looking on this thread for the first time must think,i know its all a bit of frivolity but even there imaginations must run wild. Today ime beginning to feel a bit like Zak Dingle and wondering just where am i really, i love it. Just keep it going boys ime sure it makes a few chuckle even if they dont want to admit it.
By the way Charlie if you had any nouse for a seventy year old you would have used the bus lane on the itchen toll bridge, i aint bin stopped yet not even with four horses.
And as for you Jim you ought to know not to put alteria money makin opportunitys to Charlie, hes got a job gettin on the cart in the first place, god knows what he’ll be like when he gets to Wellow and Richard plys him with calvados and he offers a bag of horse ■■■■ in payment, anyway ime not sure Angie is in to roses at least not the growing ones.
Well i better go now as i have to take my medication, see you all soon Buzzer.

Hi Buzzer sorry I missed you today when I visited Tracey Island , you’ll have to lower you rates on the meals on wheels round cos a new team from London have put in a quote for the Wellow Round !!!
And they live in the bus lanes and know all the short cuts !! Wiv a faster orse !

Regards Jim
