Ive just found this very rare document in an old suitcase of mine, its not rare cos of the shipping line or of its age but for the fact the subsidised meal ticket portion remained unused, i must just not have been hungry on that day.

Hi John,

That’s an old suitcase :unamused: was there a ticket off the Titanic in the case as well ?

Richard

Dont kid yourself Richard, i think some times we forget how old we have got, but it feels like it was just yesterday we used to ship out of Southampton on Thoresons and Normandy. The thing is there used to be loads of companys in and around the surrounding area involved in international transport, its easy to recall 20 or more but most have now gone.I do feel a little proud that we are still at it. Maybe because Hori and ■■■■■■ came along and were brought up in the environment that we still exist today, as they seem to be commited to the cause as much as ever, i think if they had chosen a different path we probabley would have finished as well by now.Regards Buzzer.

And still going strong(i think)
Parked in yoplait,Vienne, load next day
