Hay the IP 5 now there is a road,a very many times I’ve been over there,it needed respect or it could become lethal. It was supposed to have a few tunnels on it but a government minister took the money and disappeared to Brazil,that’s Portugal. Dont supposed you remember John when you rang me at home to say that i was on shipping on a Friday out for Lisbon and it had to be there for Mon am so because of that i was to take Blakey as a second man.(he didn’t have a truck at the time). My reply was only as long as he doesn’t smoke,■■■■,snore or breath and 2 of those are compulsory. you said you would phone me back,you did about half an hour later and said OK you can go alone,when asked when I’m to be there you said “same time” good days.And still done legal…

Quwoz it’s nice to even get you on here Mrs D has still got a soft spot for you god knows why cos when you wanted to be you could be one of the most cantankerouse buggers goin but heyho life goes on. just keep a look out for me as i just got another two green horses to train up .Also you must not have a go at Mappo he’s gettin fed up and cant take a joke.He’s only on here weekends (cheap rate) so you can slag him off the rest of the week.By the way you and Cindy are welcome to call in for a COT and chat any weekend your free then we can sort out who the hell plays what in the big film.

Hi fergie i think the way things are goin mappo’s gonna give the old laptop to oxfam every bodys at him at the mo mind you no smoke and all that by the way you deffo bin out the job to long even i know they don’t do permits any more mind you if it was in the 70’s id’e have had your right arm of and you could have took your choice of what role you wanted to play ps. we ain’t even got a camera man yet sounds covered Duff’s doin that he’s always got sumthin to say. Only jokin Pat!

Found this old receipt for diesel from 1974 unbelievable 54 and a half pence per GALLON and only 10% VAT how things have changed. I know its nearly 40 years ago but the way things are going where will it end it just makes everything you buy more expensive.
