Mine has them too,they sound terrible. If i was you i’d damage them then get a more suitable replacement

i asked in merc wheres best to cut in for a air supplie ,merc mech sayed any the black pipes under O/S bumper and yes yours truly cut into the handbrake release !!!
horn only worked once moving
