Great period shot of one of Robsons Trader artics,I think they were just swb tipper chassis,Robsons sure ran a fair number in the lighter end of their fleet many were 4 wheel ridgids,and I’ve mentioned it on an earlier thread that Robsons had a driver that lived in Kendal in the '60’s,a native of Larkhall.His speciality was Dock drops in Liverpool,no problem,as he was a good pub singer and was a “star” turn in many of the boozers on the Dock road he was well known and “well in” with the Docker fraternity and I believe they would “pull” him out of many a queue and take him right in to the fron’t,he was ace at it !Cheers Bewick.

You can “fill sandbags with 'owt” “robroy” and the “fast eddie” spotters fall into that catagory with no problem,and they would definitely enjoy a “smoke and mirror” show,they’d be ■■■■■■■ themselves with delight Bewick.
