Excellent post by robin hood. Problem being is most times when a wagon leaves it’s parking place over here, it looks like it was a space occupied by a tramp or vagrant. Even with nearby amenities, there will be at least one large urine puddle, probably some food wrappers and some wet wipes. (and bloody tea bags). Sometimes worse, a large turd or a bottle of ■■■■ and a full bag of rubbish.
It’s our fault we are treated with contempt. I used to park regularly at a place i’m bamber bridge. Private yard, which allows some parking. I used to often pick up the empty (and full) bottles and chip papers, bag them up, and put in the bin. The owners knew because they gave me bags. I was in there recently and the bit is atrocious with ■■■■ bottles, beer cans and takeaway wrappers. I was embarrassed to be a driver to be honest.
And before the usual crap gets spouted, it’s not always Johnny foreigner. Probably quite the opposite. There was a czech registered wagon parked in my home town recently for 5 days. He asked the girl in the local garage if he could use their facilities. She told me he used the toilet, got a wash and filled his water bottles every day. Was always polite. After 5 days he left, no turds, no ■■■■ bottles, no litter.
Go down M5 to Junc 19, Gordano Services - head into Portishead, straight over first two roundabouts, turn right just after McD’s - Old Mill Road trading estate, fair amount of parking available on a dead-end road, ample turning. Kebab van, McD’s, Co-Op, garage, and normal High St take-aways.
Or still in Portishead, at 2nd roundabout, drive in by the Premier Inn - small office campus, quite a few of the car transporters spend the night there.
BUT… polite request… please take your litter with you or use the bins by the shops (a few bad apples spoil the bunch etc)

I think I saw in the local paper there was a incident between some boy/ girl racers and a lorry. Don’t know the ins and outs be also the Asda were going to put a stop to lorrys in car park.
Haven’t been since to have a look.
Yes it was posted with pictures last year sometime and it was a boy racer car embedded into the side of a trailer.
I posted the pic and it wasn’t a boy racer it was a trade plater ■■■■■■ out of his head

Boy racer / trade player…… same thing! lol
I take it Nick2008 you work in the Asda store as your qualified to announce on here that the parking has ceased due to Burns trucks parking up at 1400hrs or earlier,so they,re the only trucks that park on there in the day are they? i think not, there,s trucks on there all hours day and night seven days a week,i don,t know the reason large boulders have been placed to prevent trucks parking but it could be any one of a number of reasons and singling an individual companies vehicles out is unfair,There,s also the youngsters in cars that congregate there at night, maybe the boulders have been placed to deter them from using the car park,
Maybe Asda are just following the lead of other stores around the UK where height barriers have been installed to prevent anything other than private vehicles to park.
