CPC Theory test learning material?

Mac74:
Thank you carlston, very useful answer.

I was struggling to decide between an online website to learn and practice (drivingtheory4all.co.uk/) or the 2 books you have mentioned, and I think I will go for the 2 books (hopefully I will buy them on amazon or ebay at cheaper price).

You need to book your LGV theory tests on the official government website:

gov.uk/book-theory-test

The part 1a multiple choice test costs £26, and the part 1b hazard perception test costs £11.

There is often a 4 week wait for an available test slot, so you might want to book now. Also, consider booking a second set of tests in case you fail the first time, maybe a week or two after the first test dates. You can always cancel tests and get a full refund if you cancel at least 3 working days before the test date.

good advises, I am going to check when the next theory test is available in my area.

Edit: I have checked and it seems that York has plenty of spaces: dates available from 02/08 to 18/08 and 2-3 sessions every morning and afternoon.
