I’ll ask the fella that originally posted them (when I remember who it was)

Shamelessly nicked by me, as I worked for the Co-op for quite a few years, only location I’m 100% positive of is the DAF on the loading bay was taken at the Biddulph Store in Staffs (my old shop) now a B&M.

Taken in my Normal Co-Op truck spotting place while walking my lad to playschool! Back of Landywood Co-Op.
Nice driver, let my lad have his photo taken in the driver seat, made his week!

Preston Reg on a Volvo doesn’t mean a thing CG. I think most of them are leased, they are all over the country.

Hello truckfing

Many thanks for that marra. Though they bought out right but I suppose not many do now a days!

Kindest regards

Sorry for the revival but I would like to add here that when a manufacturer gets an order for a big fleet deal, they will tend to share the registrations round the dealer network. When ND ordered new vehicles for the Mitsubishi Electric fleet they were ordered from Renault head office and supplied by Dunstable, despite the fact that Northampton was the closest dealer and is the site that handles all the servicing for the fleet.

Back in the mid 70’s Alan Spencer from the North Mids society used to park his in the road opposite his house. I thought even back then that he had really great breaks, especially as he came home in it every night.

Turned out he just left it there while he went out on the lash at dinner time.
