You were not that far just turn at Crooklands Hotel and you are there but that M.O.T sign at the road end
would frighten a lot of operators away! Number plates its not what you know but who you know!

Hiya Malc nice shots of the tippers! did Taylors prefer Rolls Royce engined chassis? I could have sold them one in 1976 a 2 year old 32/4 sleeper conversion ex K.Fell pictured here in the depot at Milnthorpe coupled to a 40 ft loaded with 20 ton of Libby’s from next door! cheers Dennis.

They had quite a mixture over the years from KM bedford,leyland mastif,beaver ex howarths,other leylands and a volvo.
As far as buying your seddon they said that old Eric (a partner) would buy anything with good tyres on !.
