I can rember those amos mear 8 leggers.My dad drove for charringtons solid fuel from around 83 i think. I can rember going to the nottinghamshire coal pits gedling, bolsover and askham.Spellings proburally wrong.Was great in my school holidays but the miners strike put a stop to those runs.I will try to find some pics of my dads old leyland scammel constructor .Any pics of john whitrods fleet from sturmer suffolk he use to cart coal too and john marshall from wickhambrook,suffolk too.
