Although I was an infrequent visitor to the xp forum, I found it most interesting when I did visit.
I echo the sentiments above in that I think its a bit harsh to punish all the good rule abiding users for something that, AFAIK only a relative few have caused. Bit like the whole class of 10 year olds having to stay late because the one kid responsible for a misdemeanor wouldn’t own up.
Rikki I hope you can manage to stay away from TN & its issues as much as possible whilst on holiday, wherever you are, but then on return give the very reasonable points raised above some thought.

Agreed! If someone steps out of line sort them out! Not everyone else! It was an interesting and useful forum that had degenerated into a cat fight. I don’t know who started what but to sacrifice the whole thing was over the top. Stop being so bloody liberal and smack some arse! Then let the rest get on with it!

Agreed, and tacho said something similar the other day too. I don’t see the point in the discipline system thingy if they are never going to use it. And the excuse that they’d just set up another account is a weak one as that can be spotted a mile off with the posting style.
I think Rikki should make me an admin . I’d have this site running like clockwork within a week and it’d be win for Rikki as he’d be able to spend all his time down the pub instead of only some of it due to having to nanny the trouble makers.

Agreed mate, it still is an interesting and useful forum now that it’s been re-opened, and (hopefully) the issue causing the problems has been dealt with.
