I’ve used 1200 sand paper and plenty of soapy water to flat a lot of the weathering and oxidisation on my fuel tank, it leaves a smooth finish that shines up really well :sunglasses:

Can vouch for the brillo pad method, used this method myself and comes up a treat. Needs some elbow grease, but does look good. Lasts about six months then starts to dull again, but this could be due to the tfr we used as well. Have since seen Jennychem advert but never used it, got the impression their stuff seems bit pricey? Nice to have pride in your daily office, even if the boss could’nt care less. Were on tar all the time now with painted bodies, but still like to keep it clean.
