Evening Gentlemen, well you shall be parted from your monies!!! And many of you have!!!Quite frankly , the whole lot are not worth a fig!!! The standard of journalism is pitiful, poor knowledge, poor references, and total lack of research,…(unless they use “unreliable” internet forums). Proper journalists, the late Graham Montgomery, my pal, Pat Kennet, Mike Cunningham, Pat Barras, they must roll with mirth at these attempts!!!
Still, the paper, it is perhaps good lining for ones Cats dirt tray.
Cheerio for now.
We were completely spoilt by Pat Kennet, Saviem. I doubt if we’ll see the likes of his journalism, technical ability and honesty.
And I have to admit that I’d be a bit worried about trusting an editor who doesn’t appear to be able to spell his own name!
It’s just me. Another Glenfiddick beckons.

Hello Muckaway
Try your local WH Smith marra. Got mine from there.
Excellent read

I used to enjoy reading the old “Headlight” magazine. It had all the clearing houses contact details for return loads and loads of stories abot transport and I remember one article each week on a different town or city and it would be “Liverpool in my mirror” or “Hull in my mirror”.

I remember reading the Old Chap’s Headlight when I was at junior school. Any idea when they were first published?

The following month magazine comes into the shops about the 20th day of current month. W.H.Smith usually has it and quite a lot of the smaller newsagents and the petrol station at Whitchurch nr, Aylesbury stocks it. Also Heritage one.

The problem with Classic Truck is that it’s quarterly, so it seems newsagents have the old issue hanging around for so long I stop looking for the new one.

Hello Muckaway
I’d agree with you there marra. So newsagents around here still have the first issue alongside the third issue
I think the magazine is good enough to become monthly, but I think the price will have to come down like as £3.80 is a bit dear every month

When I was tramping, this was the best view of Liverpool!
Especially if you had parked for the night on the waste ground near the John Lewis “hotel!!!” when the rear lamp lenses and bulbs had disappeared by morning, despite having given the gang of young scallies half-a-crown to guard the lorry!
