Hi My dad was Don Blundell who used to be the manager of Cawthorns at Skelmersdale, sadly he has passed away now but he would have loved to see all the photos of the old trucks. I saw Terry Smith a few years ago at a cousins wedding, he was still irrepressible :wink:. If anyone has any photos of my dad I would love to see them :smiley:

Terry has told me that if remembers correctly Brian Robson was the shop steward for eight years at Cawthorns and that he remembers little Bryan when he went with his dad on a trip to Italy in the school holidays one summer.

2 lads i used to work with both drove for Cawthorn & Sinclaire, out of the stony stanton depot leics’. one used to do nights, 1 or 2 cat tracks on a flat to birtley, change trailers and back… Both had maggy deutz’s
