as for insurance, paying 1600TPFT, on a honda civic auto, changing to civic aerodeck with 170bhp, for 1600 quid, the currant insurer wanted an extra 600quid to swap it over

I tried Adelaide and they came in £20 below my renewal quote of £190,after asking what my renewal quote was.I normally don’t tell them what my renewal is,just to see if they can genuinely beat it or just go a couple of quid below to get my business.
Ended up on a comparison site,and got it for£143.Result 
I think they owe you some commision Harry ,I am due in june sounds like I will save a few quid thanks.

and you dont need to drive for a living just use an LGV licence as part of your job as they accepted mine…
Going to give them a try when the Discovery is due as with business insurance thats over £800 fully comprehensive

I was refused any discount as i am not working as a driver … Thou they did quote me a figure without the LGV discount which was £80 more than my renewal quote … 
They asked if I used the HGV as part of my job … which I do… and said thats was OK then
Don’t forget cashback sites such as Quidco and Topcashback, if you don’t use these guys.
I use a comparison site then go through TCB for even more savings.
Slightly off topic, my Home insurance cost £65 and the cashback was £55, could take up to 3 months to come through but Home Insurance for a tenner, cool 
will give them a ring tomorrow am with insure (who are another part of hastings) and find them terrible ok on price but everything else is terrible

They told me that they will beat any genuine quote by 10% guaranteed.
I just had a call from them to quote me. my renewal with Adrian flux was £605.
Adeleade quoted £571.
both companys promise to beat a lower quote so let the bidding begin!!
i spoke to a nice lady called kiara she asked were i heard of them she said shes had loads of calls from poeple quoting trucknetuk.

Well 3 weeks after filling in the online form twice i am still waiting for a call from them.
Had my renewal from the NFU ,had gone up £100 from last year to £400 .
i compared the meercat 
and came up with £300 ish for the same cover .
Rang Adelaid and was quoted £280 inc legal /breakdown cover ,and protected no claims as a bonus .
