the phone is galaxy s2.the thing that stumped me was because it can connect to the internet on it`s own why would it need to go through someone elses router.i thought routers were just old fashioned things that were used before dongles were invented
so am i right in thinking that a phone uses a different signal to a computer and that said signal is weaker than the one the computer uses
Someone else Router changes the Signal from Wired to Wifi or Mifi.
But i have a cheaper Solution.I upgrate my BT broadband from 10 Gb to 40 Gb for no Cost.It just extends the running from 18 Month to 24 Month and i got Wifi unlimited for free, called BTFONE.Works even abroad, and Laptop can use it as well as Phone,iPad,iPod,ect, ect,

I hate smart phones, unless you’re a teenager or work for N.A.S.A the bloody things are likely to drive you mad, they seem to work right up until the moment when you actually need it then it switches itself off!!! When I see the word “Microsoft” I know it means problems ahead, smart, my arse.
Santa, If your watching I want an Iphone i’m told they work.
An iPhone is a smart phone.

Only if you “jailbreak” them so Apple cannot track you!!
■■■■■■■■. I’ve had my iPhone not jailbroken and jailbroken and it works the same either way, no problems.
True it is a smart phone, and the reason I would opt for it is Microsoft have nothing to do with the software, Microsoft OS are like Shunting and General Haulage, to be avoided at all cost.
