Aye, around a £5 a pack there. I think they are around £9 a pack in UK, depending on what brand you don’t smoke.
Don’t forget, you are only allowed to import ■■■■, baccy n alcohol for your own consumption or as a gift.
If it’s a gift, it must be completely free of any obligation, it can’t be ‘payment in kind’ or anything similar.

If your leaving Calais that early you will be going thru lux @10-11am local ish, I would think by the time you’ve had a couple of cuppa break etc etc it will be ok, leaving that early I would go Lille but there are a few bits of roadworks but less chance of traffic after Lille itself…ps make sure ya jockey wheel is up securely as you will lose it on the belgique roads…Bon route et Bon chance…

You would be best getting any tobacco products on the way home as you are only allowed to take 250 cigarettes or 250g of tobacco per person duty free into Switzerland. Alcohol limits are 5 litres less than 18% and 1 litre over 18%.
Chances are you won’t get stopped going in, however if you are coming back via Lux or Belgium then it is just as easy.
