C+E Training started

KittyKat:
Thanks everyone. So that’s it test day tomorrow at 1pm. A lot more confident today. Done 3 reverses with a shunt all no probs, couple/uncouple ok, not always getting unit lined up straight with trailer, muppet that I am. Road driving was ok too though some smart ■■■ bus driver mounted the kerb to get past me coming out of a side street and nearly plowed down someones hedge. It would have been nice if he had just held back for me. My instructor said theres nothing I could have done exept wait until the idiot passed me. I am starting to get slightly nervous about tomorrow.

Not all us bus drivers are that bad…

Best of luck tomorrow

I know. He wasn’t a First driver. Do bananas really calm you down Sam? I’ve learned something new.. For my cat c test I ate lots of Kalms lozenges.

I found that spray in yellow bottles good for calming before a test but can’t for the life of me remember its name.

Yes! My Class 2 instructor told me about it and it seemed to work for me. Something to do with the potassium I think he said.

Lucky I have a Tesco five mins walk from my house. I am now stocked up on bananas (Thanks Sam), and Rescue Remedy.

good luck as soon as he says " you have passed " get on the forum and update us :sunglasses: :sunglasses:

Good luck, got my fingers crossed for you.

SB

good luck to you… sounds easy for me to say but drive as well as you know you can and try to forget the passenger seat is occupied…

go steady on the rescue remedy… there’s booze in it… me thinks?

Good Luck KittyKat!!

Rescue remedy has Brandy in it, you can just about detect it if you use the dropper under the tongue instead of the spray but it is in such a small amount you would need to drink a bucket to get even slightly tipsy. It’s only there to prevent the water becoming stale.

anyone got a couple of buckets?

By the way. Good luck Kittykat

Bach flower remedies are dilutions of flower material developed by Edward Bach, the remedies contain “energetic” or “vibrational” nature of the flower and that this can be transmitted to the user. flower remedies are considered vibrational medicines, and rely on a concept of water memory. The best known flower remedy is the Rescue Remedy combination, which contains an equal amount each of Rock Rose, Impatiens, Clematis, Star of Bethlehem and Cherry Plum remedies. The product is aimed at treating stress, anxiety, and panic attacks, especially in emergencies.
Hope this helps  O.K. bring on the tree hugger comments.

That’s the one.

wishing you the very best of luck with your c+e test today KittyKat. The bannana tip worked for me.

Not fair keeping us hanging on like this!!!

Sorry guys and gals for keeping you hanging on. Well didn’t go according to plan. The test got abandoned 20 mins into it because the right hand side indicator on the unit stopped working. The examiner got me to pull over, got out and checked the indicator, tried adjusting the suzies to see if that was it but no still not working, so had to take the truck back to test centre. Was a pass up till then. I’m absolutely gutted as I have to put myself through that again. :frowning: Got a retest for next Wednesday morning. My instructor is going to stay behind Tuesday night and give me a couple of hours training. Going to try and relax now and not start to think about it till next week.

Well that really does take the proverbial. If you weren’t nervous enough already!! Keep your chin up and just think next time you will feel so chilled out…honest!! :sunglasses:

bad luck kitty kat im raging !!! thats so not fare !!! rant over you were doing so well aswell just keep your chin up and keep in the zone  what did gtg say about it ■■ take it there paying for resit ■■ :imp:
