Yes it is opposite Lathams, it’s sort of semi permanent so has been there a few years but I’m not sure who owned it before. It’s good as far as snack vans go . The chip shop is IMHO, not very good .
I hear Kens chip shop in Wroxham is under new ownership and good.
Did you take your bus over Potter bridge, I assumed it had a lower weight limit??
The hog dog man is in the big car park outside Matalan with I think a red canopy. I sometimes get two
Yes, used to take buses over the bridge all the time, as the weight limit only applies to Lorries
Speaking of fish and chips, who’s used Baxters in Long Sutton before? Man alive, cheap AND proper. You can pull a wagon up outside no problem

As you can at Walcott, which IMHO serve the best chips anywhere. Bit out of the way though.

went to one a few years ago, geezer sat there with a rab nesbitt top on [string vest]and a young girl was doing the food there was filth all over the floor inc grease and she was walking in it bare foot,i bought an egg sandwich and a tea, took one bite from the sandwich and spat it on the ground in disgust, was not cooked properly, absolutely disgusting place tea tasted like dishwater [probably was]threw that away as well, place was a proper health hazard,[A3 near Guildford London bound]
that would be Rab C & Mary doll. wondered what they were at now.
There’s a good one at March past tescos on the way to 100 mile industrial estate
Lady there does great baguettes , toasted on the hotplate and has proper sausages oh and real cheese (as well as plastic type )
Shame I don’t get up that way much theses days!
Does anyone remember the chap who locked himself into those huts in the layby at Guyhirn, maybe twenty years ago? He was protesting against the layby closure. Was that a cafe of sorts? I was young then, my dad used to beep as requested by the signs as a lot of people did
That old coach on the A47 on the North side of road looks a but iffy, is it near Dereham ? I can’t remember. Looks a bit rough though.

That old Guyhirn cafe is still there (derelict), and still looks better than the Coffee Tree nearby.

If I walked into a bar that was populated with shaven headed fellas sporting prison tats and swastikas, wearing knuckle dusters, carrying baseball bats in one hand with a doberman on a chain with the other I’d most likely about turn and make my exit sharpish. Based on what you’ve written you’d most likely order a pimms and look for some nice classical music on the jukebox!
Strange times my friend.
not keen on pimms either,as regards classical I take it or leave it,four seasons are good

That must be a joke. You saw these awful conditions and proceeded to buy food? You’ve no one to blame but yourself for wasting money on crap food!
I actually agree with you but then I was a young van driver
